Smoothies are a great way to ensure that your kids are getting essential vitamins and minerals they need. Smoothies are also a great way to incorporate beneficial plant based superfoods into you and your families life style. Since fruits and vegetables come in a rainbow of colours there are so many different,  delicious, pretty and fun smoothies you can make.

February always seems to be a tough month for parents and kids, kids have lost some interest in the toys they have played since Christmas so they are bored. The cold and miserable weather in February doesn’t help either, you can’t even send the kids outside to play. The boredom and cabin fever can drain both you and your kids.
No need to fear, Fueled By Raw is here!! This Purple Power Potion Smoothie is guareented to give you and your child the “super powers” that you need to get through
the February Blahs. The reason why purple fruits and vegetables give you “super powers” is because of an antioxidant called anthocyanin. Anthocyanin is what gives these fruits and vegetables their purple colour and disease fighting powers. Anthocyanin is also found in red wine, so red wine is also a powerful potion (good news for mom and dad) !!! What makes this potion so power packed is the acai berry. Acai is a superfood that comes from the Amazon rainforest. It contains powerful antioxdiants that help fight disease and omega fatty acids that are great for your skin and hair. These little berries also contain fiber, protein and a number of vitamins and minerals.

Purple Power Potion is plant powered, vegan, dairy free, nut free, gluten free, egg free and soy free.
